VACXONE-S (Ceftriaxone & Sulbactam Injection) is a combination of two active ingredients: ceftriaxone and sulbactam. These both are antibiotics. Ceftriaxone belongs to a class which is known as cephalosporins, while sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Ceftriaxone works by stopping the group of bacterial cells. Sulbactam works to stop beta-lactamase enzymes produced by bacteria that can inactivate antibiotics like cephalosporins.
